Ariana Madix, star of the hit Bravo show “Vanderpump Rules,” recently made an appearance on the popular talk show, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Madix, who has also released a new book titled “Single AF Cocktails,” joined Fallon on the show to showcase some of the delicious cocktails from her book.

During the interview, Fallon commended Madix for her strength and resilience in the face of challenges. Madix expressed her gratitude and shared that although the past 10 months had been a whirlwind, she was doing well. She also mentioned some of the positive things that have come from her experiences, such as being named one of the 40 Most Powerful Women on Reality TV by Variety, finishing in the top three on the latest season of “Dancing With the Stars,” and landing a role as Roxie Hart in “Chicago” on Broadway.

Madix went on to discuss her inspiration for writing “Single AF Cocktails.” As a big fan of music, she found herself drawn to breakup albums by artists like Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, and Kelly Clarkson. While she may not know how to write music, she certainly knows how to make cocktails. The book, which quickly became a New York Times bestseller, features a collection of cocktail recipes perfect for those going through a breakup.

During the segment, Madix demonstrated how to make a few of her cocktails from the book. One of the drinks she showcased was the (Love) Birds in Paradise, a tropical cocktail inspired by her trip to Hawaii in 2015. She used mezcal as her base spirit, giving the drink a unique smoky flavor.

Another cocktail Madix introduced was the Midlife Crisis, a drink that certainly packs a punch. Made with cinnamon whiskey and topped with Overproof rum, this cocktail is not for the faint of heart.

Rumors, another cocktail from Madix’s book, draws inspiration from the idea that some rumors are indeed true. The drink is a swizzle, a fun cocktail-making technique that involves stirring instead of shaking. The final touch is a float of Cassis, giving the drink an attractive visual appeal.

Lastly, Madix shared her mocktail called Life is Beautiful. Made with seedlip, a popular alcohol substitute, and topped with nonalcoholic sparkling, this drink serves as a reminder that, despite life’s difficulties, there is beauty to be found.

Madix’s appearance on The Tonight Show was a delightful and entertaining segment filled with laughter and delicious cocktail recipes. Her book, “Single AF Cocktails,” offers a unique twist on traditional cocktails and has gained recognition as a New York Times bestseller. Fans of Madix and cocktail enthusiasts alike will enjoy exploring the creative and tasty recipes found within its pages.
