They had been joking about a sweet-potato pie left over from Thanksgiving, and her mother texted her, saying, “Think you’ll be happy.” Sadly, it turned out to be the last message Nicole received from her mother. The title is a testament to her mother’s belief in the power of positive thinking and being productive despite challenging circumstances.
