In a recent episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Ellen introduced a game that she claims to be the most difficult game on daytime television – “Cosmo or Not.” The game, dedicated to the late Burt Reynolds, challenges contestants to determine whether a list of titles were featured on the cover of Cosmo magazine or simply made up by Ellen’s writers.

The first contestant, Kelly from Victorville, confidently took the stage. When asked about her knowledge of Cosmo magazine, she revealed that she not only knew about it but also read it regularly. With 30 seconds on the clock, Ellen started firing titles at Kelly, who had to respond with either “Cosmo” or “Not.” Some of the titles included “I cracked my tooth stripping for him” and “Bo Botox: It’s not just for the face anymore.” Kelly managed to correctly identify most of the titles, proving her expertise in all-things-Cosmo.

For each correct answer, the contestants received a prize. Kelly won a retro item, which she carefully carried off the stage. Ellen then moved on to the next contestant, Carrie from Hollywood. Carrie admitted that she used to read Cosmo but wasn’t sure how she would fare in this game. With the clock ticking, Ellen presented titles like “Dirty hair can be a turn-on for him” and “Meow! How you can be a sex kitten this summer.” Carrie confidently responded with either “Cosmo” or “Not,” scoring points and winning a 3-in-1 espresso, cappuccino, and coffee maker.

“Cosmo or Not” proved to be a challenging and entertaining game, showcasing the witty and creative minds behind The Ellen DeGeneres Show. The audience enjoyed watching the contestants try to distinguish between real Cosmo titles and Ellen’s made-up ones. It just goes to show that sometimes truth is stranger than fiction, even when it comes to magazine headlines.
