Ice Cube and Bachelorette Jen Schefft were the exciting guests on the latest episode of the popular talk show, The Ellen DeGeneres Show. The episode paid homage to the late Johnny Carson, who had a significant influence on Ellen and her talk show career.

Ellen started the show by sharing her admiration for Johnny Carson, reminiscing about his signature monologue closings and his ability to make everyone feel comfortable. She praised his listening skills and lack of mean-spiritedness, especially considering her less-than-stellar appearance on his show back in 1986.

The conversation then shifted to Ice Cube, the multi-talented artist behind the number one movie in the country, “Are We There Yet?” Ellen commended his success and versatility and said she had always been a fan. Ice Cube explained that he took on this movie, which he also produced, as an opportunity to connect with his youngest audience and do something fun for kids. He also mentioned his four children, ranging from ages 4 to 18, and how they help each other out with babysitting and other responsibilities.

As the show progressed, Ellen introduced the audience to a heartwarming story of eight high school seniors from Lima, Montana, who saved all their money for five years to go on a senior trip but ended up donating it to their teacher who was diagnosed with breast cancer. The students’ act of selflessness was recognized and celebrated.

Next, it was time for the Humdinger game. Ellen and Ice Cube went into the audience, where Cube had to guess the songs being hummed by audience members while wearing noise-canceling headphones. The first contestant, Aisha, hummed the iconic Britney Spears hit, “Baby One More Time,” but Cube hilariously guessed “Wiener.” Despite the mix-up, Aisha was still rewarded with a Fujifilm digital camera.

The game continued with another contestant, Cheryl, from Chandler, Arizona. She hummed the classic song “I Will Survive,” but Cube struggled to guess it, going for a humorous but incorrect answer of “Old MacDonald.” Although Cheryl didn’t win, the audience still applauded her efforts.

Overall, the episode was filled with laughter, heartwarming moments, and great conversation between Ellen, Ice Cube, and the audience. The Ellen DeGeneres Show once again showcased its ability to bring joy and entertainment to its viewers.
