In a recent episode of “The Ellen Degeneres Show,” there was no shortage of excitement and entertainment. With special guests Usher, Dennis Franz, and Mo’Nique, the talk show was filled with laughter, surprises, and even a dance court trial.

The show kicked off with Ellen acknowledging Valentine’s Day and joking about always being a day late in celebrating. She then turned the spotlight onto the audience, giving them the power to choose what she would talk about. Using polling devices on their chairs, the audience voted between three topics: soup, leftovers, or Ellen’s Grammy story.

Despite Ellen’s anticipation for an interesting story, the audience wasn’t too keen on hearing about soup. So she moved on to her Grammy experience. Ellen gushed about attending the Grammys, being in the front row alongside music legends like U2, Usher, Beyonce, and Jay-Z. She raved about the incredible performances by Melissa Etheridge, Joss Stone, and U2.

However, Ellen had one unfortunate moment at the Grammys when she had to rush to the bathroom during Usher‘s performance. She ended up missing the performance and could only watch it on a tiny backstage TV. Yet, that didn’t dampen her spirit as she later attended Usher‘s party, which turned out to be a wild night of dancing.

Moving on from the Grammys, Ellen welcomed her next guest, Dennis Franz, who appeared on the show for the twelfth and final season of “NYPD Blue.” Ellen praised his incredible performance and the numerous awards he received for his role on the show. Dennis shared stories from his time on the show, including the famous butt scene and his four Emmy wins.

The laughter continued as Mo’Nique joined the show. Known for hosting “Showtime at the Apollo,” Mo’Nique brought her humor and charm to the stage. She also showcased her culinary skills by teaching Ellen how to make mac and cheese, a dish loved by many.

But the highlight of the show was the dance court trial, where the Laker Girls faced justice for causing Ellen’s back injury. Ellen humorously presented evidence, including slow-motion clips of the incident and testimonials from individuals across the country who experienced injuries from laughing too hard. The Laker Girls were found guilty and were sentenced to dance.

As the show concluded, Dennis Franz expressed his gratitude for being part of the show and his excitement for some well-deserved time off. Ellen, always a fan of relaxing and doing nothing, gifted him The Sharper Image human touch massage recliner to aid in his future relaxation.

Overall, this episode of “The Ellen Degeneres Show” was a perfect blend of humor, celebrity guests, and unexpected moments. It showcased the talk show’s lively atmosphere and Ellen’s ability to entertain her audience with her charming personality and comedic timing.
