On the latest episode of The Ellen Degeneres Show, host Ellen Degeneres welcomed two amazing guests to the stage – Felicity Huffman and Megan Mullally. The audience was buzzing with excitement as Ellen kicked off the show with her usual energetic and playful demeanor.

Ellen, who had worn the same outfit to the Emmys the night before, joked about how she wore it to her prom as well. She also mentioned that they were live and it was early in the morning for them, but she appreciated all the audience members who had turned up at 3:30 in the morning.

The talk show host also shared her experience of driving to the studio in the early hours of the day. She mentioned encountering a deer on the road, surprised that there was any traffic at that time of the day. Ellen joked about being able to drive as fast as she wanted without having to wear a shirt, as long as she could show her Emmy if she got pulled over.

Ellen then introduced Bruce, the man who keeps the show on time during the Emmys. Bruce explained the “back timer” process, which helps them monitor the show’s timing. Ellen humorously expressed concern when realizing they were already behind schedule.

Felicity Huffman, who won an Emmy the night before for her role in Desperate Housewives, was the first guest on the show. Ellen congratulated her on her win and praised her performance. Felicity expressed her surprise and gratitude, sharing that she never expected to win. She mentioned how she and her husband Bill Macy went to a party after the awards ceremony but couldn’t get in due to overcrowding.

Megan Mullally, Emmy Award winner and star of Will and Grace, joined Ellen on stage next. They discussed Megan’s foot injury, which resulted in her wearing a plaster cast. Megan mentioned injuring herself while dancing at home and expressed her intention to visit the doctor later that day. Despite the injury, she still attended the Emmys and had a blast with her husband, who pushed her around in a wheelchair.

Ellen praised Megan’s performance with Donald Trump during the awards ceremony, where they did a skit based on the show Green Acres. They also shared a funny moment discussing William Shatner’s reaction when Megan won. Megan appreciated the support and mentioned that she voted for Felicity to win as well.

During the show, Ellen also showcased footage of audience helper Erica Jones on the red carpet before the Emmys. Erica had a blast interacting with celebrities and handed out fun gifts like cheese and fans.

Overall, it was an entertaining and laughter-filled episode of The Ellen Degeneres Show, featuring two talented and inspiring actresses. And if you missed it, make sure to catch the new season of Desperate Housewives and Will and Grace.
