Elizabeth Olsen, known for her roles in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) films, recently appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to discuss her experience doing her own stunts. The talk show host praised Olsen for her performance in the hit series WandaVision, highlighting how the show broke form and took viewers on an emotional journey.

During the interview, Olsen revealed that while she enjoyed filming WandaVision, she couldn't help but feel like the "forgotten cousin" in the Marvel Universe. While her co-stars Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan were traveling the world and blowing things up, Olsen found herself doing sitcom acting in a corner. Despite this, she and her co-star, Paul Bettany, thoroughly enjoyed filming the show and embraced the challenge.

Colbert also brought up the topic of stunts, referencing an earlier interview where Olsen mentioned her difficulty with wire stunts. She admitted that she often couldn't stop laughing when they hoisted her up, causing multiple takes. However, with the release of three Marvel movies since that interview, Olsen assured Colbert that she has improved and recovered from her giddiness.

When discussing her experience on Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Olsen mentioned a challenging stunt where she had to be dropped from 30 feet and land. Olsen revealed her initial skepticism about doing the stunt herself, as she believed the double could handle it better. Despite her reservations, the production team opted to have her perform most of the stunts, which Olsen deemed a waste of everyone's time.

Olsen humorously expressed her frustrations with being covered in oil and blood throughout the filming process, jokingly suggesting that they should have blown feathers on her, reminiscent of the ending of Witches of Eastwick. She also mentioned the challenges of having emotional moments while her on-screen partner had his face covered in little white dots for CGI purposes or purple glitter, which she playfully attributed to Paul Bettany's character, Vision.

Elizabeth Olsen's interview on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert offered a glimpse into her behind-the-scenes experiences and showcased her ability to bring depth and emotion to her roles. As her star continues to rise in the MCU and in other projects, fans can eagerly anticipate more entertaining interviews and captivating performances from this talented actress.
