Comedian Tom Segura made a memorable appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, where he shared hilarious stories about torturing his mom, a crazy helicopter prank, and his love for motorbiking with F1 racing driver Daniel Ricciardo.
Tom, known for his numerous podcasts and stand-up comedy tour called “Come Together,” entertained the audience with his wit and humor. He recently returned from a comedy tour in Asia, where he performed in Japan, Hong Kong, and Singapore – countries he never imagined doing stand-up comedy in.
During his visit, Tom couldn’t help but gush about the amazing food he had in Asia. According to him, it was the best he’s ever had. He also marveled at the cleanliness of Tokyo, especially the public toilets that come equipped with built-in bidets. Tom couldn’t resist sharing his experiences, even confessing to purposefully taking two dumps at a 7-Eleven just to experience the cleanliness firsthand.
But it was Tom’s relationship with his mom that stole the show. Describing their relationship as “transactional,” he joked about buying her things and getting her to do hilarious antics. In one instance, he convinced her to read rap lyrics, which was an absolute delight. However, Tom admitted that his mom doesn’t particularly like anything he does and often finds him grotesque.
One of his most memorable pranks on his mom involved a helicopter ride. For her 79th birthday, Tom took her on a scenic helicopter tour in Austin. Little did she know that the ride would take a wild turn. Tom, who had been taking helicopter flying lessons, decided to have some fun and performed thrilling maneuvers like going vertical and sideways. His mom’s reactions were priceless, and it all went exactly as planned.
Naturally, his mom was furious after the prank. She accused Tom of being an evil man, but Tom managed to make it up to her every time. The price for his pranks and videos rises with each occurrence, requiring him to buy her expensive gifts and fulfill her extravagant requests. In one instance, she demanded two first-class tickets to Las Vegas, a presidential suite, and money to gamble with. Tom complied, knowing that was the price to pay for his hilarious stunts.
In addition to his comedic adventures, Tom is an avid fan of Formula 1 racing. He even got the opportunity to spend time with F1 driver Daniel Ricciardo at his ranch in Western Australia. Daniel took Tom for a thrilling ride in an open-air vehicle, going up to 70 mph and drifting. Then, he introduced Tom to dirt biking, which ended in a hilarious accident. Tom crashed and ended up covered in bruises, much to Daniel’s amusement.
