He jokingly pointed out that Turner’s performance didn’t match her claim of feeling intimidated. Moss-Bachrach, who is also a talented musician, shared that he played the guitar on the show Girls and had learned to play the instrument for a play years before.
As conversation shifted to his childhood, Moss-Bachrach revealed that he was once part of a jazz band. Although he wasn’t a member of the school band, he proudly mentioned his involvement in the jazz band and their first gig, which happened to be a 5k fundraiser. The band was named the “Third Mile Jazz Quintet,” and their performance aimed to inspire runners to keep going, adding a touch of humor to their act.
But the highlight of the interview came when the topic switched to Moss-Bachrach’s appearance in a cookbook called “Sweeten Up” by Alison Roman. Surprisingly, Moss-Bachrach happened to be featured in a photograph, wearing a skimpy swimsuit while holding an old-fashioned strawberry cake. Moss-Bachrach also discussed his experience wearing a motion capture suit for his role as Ben Grim, aka The Thing, in the film.
