On a recent episode of The Ellen Degeneres Show, talk show host Jimmy Kimmel joined Ellen to share some hilarious moments from their high school yearbooks. It turns out, these celebrities weren’t always the confident and successful stars we see today.

Ellen started off the segment by revealing Jimmy’s old yearbook photo, showing a young and conservative-looking Kimmel before he discovered mozzarella sticks. Jimmy joked about how long ago that was and how many pounds ago it was. He admitted that he wasn’t athletic in high school and played the clarinet instead. But he was known for his humor and loved being the class clown.

Jimmy shared a funny story about his history teacher, Mr. Mills, who pulled him aside one day to warn him about his behavior. Mr. Mills told him that if he didn’t quit screwing around, he would never amount to anything. Jimmy believed him at the time, but we all know now that Mr. Mills was definitely wrong about that.

Not to be outdone, Ellen also revealed her own embarrassing high school photo. She talked about how she thought no one would ever see it since she was moving right after graduation. But little did she know, that photo would resurface and become a topic of conversation. She laughed about how bad her hair looked and how she didn’t even try to fix it before the picture was taken.

After reminiscing about their high school days, Jimmy and Ellen moved on to Halloween pictures from their childhood. Jimmy showed a photo of himself dressed as a clown, complete with his dad’s pants cut off at the bottom. Ellen shared a photo of herself as a mime, and her brother, who wasn’t in costume, but according to Ellen, was a little devil.

During the conversation, Jimmy mentioned that he spends his weekends off at Costco, much to the surprise of many. He loves wandering through the store and taking advantage of bulk deals. He jokes about the massive amounts of toilet paper he buys, which always seems to disappear from his house.

The segment with Jimmy Kimmel and Ellen sharing their yearbook and Halloween photos was a delightful trip down memory lane. It’s always fascinating to see where these celebrities came from and how they’ve evolved over the years. Catch Jimmy Kimmel on The Jimmy Kimmel Live, airing on ABC at 12:05 a.m.
